Research policy and cooperation
Many of the challenges we face today have no national borders. The increased globalisation implies that the need for collaboration on a national, regional, and European level is getting stronger. This is also true for the research and innovation area.
Nordic cooperation is not an end in itself but a means to meet the increasing internationalisation of research, and to strengthen the Nordic countries in the European and international context.
As a means to further the basis for Nordic cooperation NordForsk has started a structural analysis of research with a focus on the Nordics.
These webpages will be updated stepwise as the results from the analyses become available.
