'A Boost to Research and Innovation' (Govt. Bill 2008/09:50)
The latest research and innovation bill in Sweden was presented in 2008 and covers the period 2009-2012. A new bill is planned for 2012 and is expected to cover the period 2013-2016 since Sweden has become used to four-year cycles of research bills.

Statistics and analysis
In Sweden several actors are involved in producing statistics and analyses. The Swedish Research Council and VINNOVA analyse research and innovation respectively.
