Bibliometric Indicators for the Nordic Universities
This NORIA-net is a collaboration project for developing and demonstrating bibliometric indicators at the university level in the Nordic countries.
The NORIA-net will serve the Nordic universities and the central research authorities with a better understanding of bibliometric indicators and university rankings.
It will introduce more adequate and transparent performance indicators for the comparison of Nordic universities to be updated annually in the future.
This project follows up on previous collaboration on bibliometrics between research funding agencies in the Nordic countries, The use of bibliometrics in research policy and evaluation activities. Here the focus is on natural sciences, and the development of a methodology to present how the Nordic universities profile themselves regarding research within these sectors.
