NordForsk Magasin 2010: 5-year jubilee issue
2010 marks five years since NordForsk was founded. In this 5-year jubilee issue of NordForsk Magasin you will find interviews with Halldór Ásgrímsson, Per Unckel, Jerzy Langer, Nils Christian Stenseth, Anneli Pauli, Gard Titlestad, Anne Tjønneland, Jon Ove Hagen, Ole Petter Ottersen and many others. NordForsk magasin 2007
Globalisation is the main theme of this edition of NordForsk magasin. Four prominent international researchers give interviews about excellence in research and how to create excellence in Nordic research, NCoE NECC co-ordinator Anders Lindroth contributes with an article on eco systems and climate change, and we look into climate change in the oceans. Bjørn Hvinden, co-ordinator for the NCoE Reassessing the Nordic Welfare Model, has written the chronicle “Globalisation and the Nordic Welfare Model”. Available for download only.
Policy Paper 1-2013: Societal Security in the Nordic Countries
Research on societal security issues has developed separately in the Nordic countries. The recent emphasis at the political level on Nordic solidarity in the face of disasters, acts of violence and cyber attacks has created a clear demand for collaborative research across the region. NordForsk has supported a pre-study framing a programme on the subject.
Policy paper 4-2012: Evaluation of NORDSYNC and Nordic membership of the ESRF
While preparing its report, NRIN (NORIA-net Research Infrastructures Network) commissioned an evaluation of Nordic participation in international research cooperation. Policy paper 3-2012: Enhancing Nordic Research Infrastructure Cooperation
The NORIA-net “Nordic Research Infrastructures Network” (NRIN) was launched in 2009 with the aim of strengthening Nordic cooperation on research infrastructure. NRIN’s work culminated in the report “Enhancing Nordic Research Infrastructure Cooperation”, which offers a number of recommendations.

Distribution of health is one of the challenges facing the Nordic countries and Europe. Although health and life expectancy have improved in the Nordic countries, inequalities in the distribution of health persist. This report gives an overview of research activities, funding and funding systems of relevance to research on health and welfare-related issues in the Nordic countries 2005-2010. Based on these findings, the report also provides policy recommendations.

Annual Report 2008
NordForsks‘s annual report 2008 presents our organisation and our work during 2008. The editorial is written by the Director of NordForsk, Liisa Hakamies-Blomqvist. There is also an interview with Halldór Ásgrímsson, the Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The publication also presents main figures from the 2008 annual accounts. The report is written mainly in Scandinavian, but shorter translations in English are available throughout the publication.
