How to get there

From the airport in Helsinki you can take the bus or bus/train to Tavastehus (Hämeenlinna). By train, it's faster to get on the train to Dickursby (Tikkurila) than to drive to the center of Helsinki. From the airport it takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi or bus 61 (platform 3, T1) to Dickursby. From Dickursby the train to Tavastehus railway station takes about 50 minutes.

Alternatively you can go by bus from the airport (platform 5, T1) to Tavastehus bus station. Buses run about once an hour and a change must be done by the highway (Keimolanportti) http://www.matkahuolto.fi/sv/

For those arriving to Finland the day before the conference starts, an option is to stay the night in Helsinki and take the train to Tavastehus the next morning. The intercity train leaves for Tavastehus every hour, at 09.06 and 10.06. It takes 1:03 to Tavastehus. The conference is held at hotel Vanajanlinna right outside Tavastehus, a short ride by taxi.
