NordForsk and The Research Council of Norway hold an information meeting on the first call in the programme "Gender in the Nordic Research and Innovation Area".
Time and place:
Academy of Finland, Helsinki 10.02.2016 from 12:00 to 14:00
The Nordic countries are at the top of the European and global gender equality indices. However, within the research and innovation area, the Nordic countries only perform at a European average. This is a paradox and a problem, which NordForsk´s initiative seeks to address.
The call is open to international consortia of researchers and research groups from various sectors, including institutions of higher education, e.g., universities and other research institutions, and other organisations with a strong research focus. The formal applicant must be a legal entity based in one of the countries co-funding the programme. The consortium must involve partner institutions from at least three Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden or Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland Islands), i.e. institutions based or headquartered in one of these.
