Nordic Trial Alliance Stakeholders Meeting 2014

Nordic clinical research suffers from fragmentation and obstacles impeding cross-border research collaboration. This meeting will discuss the problems in three major research areas and make an inventory of possible solutions for advancing towards a Common Nordic Clinical Research Area.

The Nordic Trial Alliance Stakeholders meeting topic is 'Towards a Common Nordic Clinical Research Area'

During the meeting an inventory of three research areas will be made:
• Biobanks
• Registries and epidemiological research
• Interventional studies

Take the opportunity to listen to and discuss with among others the Chair of the newly appointed NTA board: Christina Åkerman, who is also Director of the General Medical Products Agency in Sweden, the Director of NordForsk: Professor Gunnel Gustafsson, as well as Professor Desmond Johnston from Imperial College in London and Director of the Diabetes Research Network and many more.

There will be lectures and sessions, where you as a participant will get the chance to shape the outcome of the meeting and the direction for the future of common clinical research in the Nordic countries.
And of course there will be lunch in addition to coffee breaks with snacks.
