Call for proposals: Nordic Research Infrastructure Hubs
NordForsk is issuing a call for proposals for Nordic Research Infrastructure Hubs. The call has a budget of NOK 17 million and the deadline for the call for proposals is 22 October 2019.
Pre-announcement: Call for proposal under the Research and Innovation Programme on Digitalisation of the Public Sector
NordForsk, Academy of Finland, Forte, the Research Council of Norway, Innovation Fund Denmark, the Estonian Research Council, Latvian Ministry of Education and Science and UK Economic and Social Research Council, are collaborating to fund research in the field of digitalisation of the Public Sector. Up to ten internationally collaborative research projects with an overall budget of maximum EURO 1 million each will be funded. A call for proposals will be issued in the autumn of 2019.

A new call for funding is available for collaborative research projects on Nordic societal security in light of the emerging global and regional trends. The total amount of funding available is set at NOK 44 million and the deadline for the submissions is 20 November 2019.

NordForsk is issuing a call for use of scientific, traditional and local knowledge to support communities and their livelihoods in the Arctic. The call has a budget of approximately NOK 2 million and the deadline is 17 October 2019.
Call for proposals: NOK 120 million for interdisciplinary research
NordForsk’s new programme will promote high-quality interdisciplinary research that combines and integrate skills from multiple disciplines. The first call for proposals under the Nordic Programme for Interdisciplinary Research has a budget of NOK 120 million and the deadline for submissions is 13 November 2019.

Nordic-British initiative on research in migration and integration
NordForsk, the Academy of Finland, the Swedish Research Council, Forte of Sweden, the Research Council of Norway, The Icelandic Centre for Research, Rannis, and the Economic and Social Research Council (part of UK Research and Innovation), are issuing a call for proposals for research projects under the Joint Nordic-UK Research Programme on Migration and Integration. The call has a budget of NOK 65 million and deadline for the call for proposals is 15 November 2018.

Innovations in Personalised Medicine: Towards implementation of personalised medicine in health care
The Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (Vinnova), the Icelandic Centre for Research (RANNÍS), Innovation Fund Denmark, Innovaatiorahoituskeskus Business Finland and the Research Council of Norway, in collaboration with NordForsk, are launching a call for proposals for funding of trans-Nordic projects aimed at implementation of personalised medicine in health care.
