Call for proposals for planning grants in societal security
The aim of the Nordic Societal Security Programme is to develop new knowledge about and solutions for the many aspects of societal security affecting the Nordic countries. With this call, NordForsk aims to support the planning of proposals for a selected Horizon 2020 Secure Societies calls.
Funding is given to expenses related to preparation and submission of proposals in one of the following Horizon 2020 Secure Societies calls:
Please note that the proposal that receive funding in this call will have to provide a verification of their submission in one of the above mentioned calls. If verification is not submitted, the grant shall be refunded to NordForsk without delay.
The Nordic programme invites cross-disciplinary, high quality and innovative proposals on topics relevant to the corresponding the Horizon 2020 Secure Societies call. When submitting a proposal, please keep in mind that the relevance to the Nordic Societal Security programme thematic framework which is further elaborated in the Policy paper about Societal Security in the Nordic Countries.
A maximum of ten pre-proposals, of 100 000 NOK each will be funded as a result of this call.
Researchers from institutions in at least two Nordic countries, and at least one country outside the Nordic region. The applying institution has to be based in a Nordic country and include minimum one other Nordic institute, as well as one Non-Nordic institute. The call is open to all researchers eligible, and not limited to those already funded in the Nordic Societal Security Programme. Only one grant will be awarded per planned H2020 proposals.
