JPI Climate calls for transnational collaborative research projects
Two broad topics have been chosen for this first joint call for transnational collaborative research projects:
- Topic 1: Societal Transformation in the Face of Climate Change
- Topic 2: Russian Arctic & Boreal Systems
The call is supported with up to EUR 12 million by funding agencies from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden, and the UK.
The call is announced onand on the NordForsk Application Portal.

About JPI Climate:
JPI Climate is a collaboration between 13 European countries to coordinate jointly their climate research and fund new transnational research initiatives. JPI Climate aims to bring together existing and develop new scientific knowledge needed to adequately transform society towards climate resilience and to provide integrated climate knowledge and decision support services for societal innovation. By transnational coordination of the research base, JPI Climate aims to overcome research fragmentation, to make better use of precious public R&D resources and to facilitate cross border collaboration between top scientists.
