Arctic Day at COP 22
Arctic Day will present current knowledge about the Arctic, climate change and its impact in the northern areas and globally, and potential solutions to the challenges we are facing. Key institutions and actors have been invited to present their research results and innovative solutions during the day.
The 22nd Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 22) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is being held on 7–18 November 2016. During COP 22, parties will begin preparations for implementing the Paris Agreement from last year.
Arctic Day will take place on 12 November, and Nordic research and innovation collaboration will be presented at a Nordic pavilion over the course of several days. The pavilion is organised by the Nordic Council of Ministers, and will have an extensive programme available for the entire duration of the COP22 session period.
