Billions for research in Denmark

The Danish government has decided to establish a research and innovation fund of more than 16 billion DKK in order to strengthen Danish technology and secure labour in Denmark.
Danish Minister of Science, Helge Sander, says the fund will secure Danish competitiveness by strengthening research and innovation within high technology such as bio-, nano-, information- and communication technology.

The capital of the fund will be raised in the period 2005-2012 through an annual addition of two billion DKK.
