The newsletter "Nyt fra Forskningsstyrelsen" of 25th June reports that the Danish Research Council of Agricultural and Veterinarian sciences (SJVF) wishes to support young researchers economically for the establishment of innovative research projects.

The target group of this initiative is Danish or foreign innovative research managers working in Danish research environments. These young research managers will be given the opportunity to establish groups of young researchers and research students. Grants will be given to research projects with a budget of 1-2 million DKK per year for 3 years, or as frame grants.

The applicants are asked to send in a justification of their projects applicability to this concept. The possibility of co-financing from the host institution is regarded an advantage.
