Denmark: 200 million DKK to research education and research

A political agreement between the Danish Government and the Danish Peoples Party settles the distribution of the Research Reserve of 200 million DKK which was already allocated in the 2006 Budget.
The agreement grants 150 million DKK to research education. This means that a number of 110 extra students can receive PhD scholarships, in addition to the increased allocation which was already in the budget.

25 million DKK is allocated to The Danish National Research Foundation, 15 million DKK to industry PhDs and 10 million DKK to a new research programme on it-security of the citizens.
