Denmark wants dynamic researchers of the Humanities

The Danish Research Council for the Humanities searches candidates for its award "Dynamic research environment 2006". A dynamic environment is, according to the council, the very condition for high quality research.
In a press release the Danish Research Council for the Humanities states that even though society creates a framework that supports research, it is up to the researchers themselves to create rooms for development, creativity and productivity. This is how to achieve the excellent and extraordinary results, the council believes.

The Danish Research Council for the Humanities wishes to focus on the aspects that make a dynamic research environment. The award will go to a dynamic research environment within the Humanities that can be described as outstandingly developing, stimulating and productive. The prize of DKK 100 000 will be awarded 9 May in the National Museum of Copenhagen.
