Finland and Japan strengthen their cooperation

The Academy of Finland and the Japan Society for Promotion of Science launch a call for a bilateral research programme that is expected to enable more long-tern cooperation between Finnish and Japanese researchers.
The programme called Finnish-Japanese Core Programme in the fields of Life Sciences and Medical Sciences will finance research teams for two years. The Academy of Finland will support Finnish research teams with maximum 80.000 euro per year. Deadline for application is 31st October 2006.
