Four new Living Lab projects

Four projects will be funded within the first call of the Nordic-Baltic research and innovation programme on Living Labs (LILAN). The decision was made at the NordForsk Board Meeting June 2-3.
The key objectives of LILAN is strengthening the knowledge and research on Living Labs and user-driven innovation in the Nordic region, establishing new networks and making use of existing ones.

Innovative products, services and concepts shall be developed and implemented with practical impact on society. New knowledge shall be developed across borders, and be made available to the public, contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of the Nordic region.

24 applications were received in total within the final submission date March 8th. The applications were evaluated by an international peer review panel, and the following four projects have been selected for funding:

A Living Labs network for user-driven innovation of ICT services
IVIS
SOCIALL - Social software for co-creation in Living Labs
A Transnational Nordic Smart City Living Lab Pilot
