Funding for Nordic-Baltic research projects on user-driven innovation in health and welfare

30.10.2014
Society has much to gain from enhancing the effectiveness of the health sector, and funding is now available for research projects aimed at developing innovative products, services and concepts that can be implemented in a practical manner in the health and welfare systems.

The call for proposals is part of NordForsk’s Nordic Programme on Health and Welfare, and the overall goal is to enhance public health in the Nordic and Baltic countries by finding solutions to societal and public health challenges through a user-driven innovation approach.

The overall budget for the call for proposals is NOK 11 million, and two to four projects will be allocated funding for a period of two to three years. Each project may seek a maximum of NOK 6 million.

Grant applications will be accepted from researchers and research groups at universities and other public research institutions in the Nordic countries, Estonia and Lithuania.
