Mirror of the postgraduate programmes

The Swedish National Agency for Higher Education has published a survey of the conditions for postgraduate students in Finland, Sweden, Ireland and the Spanish region Catalonia. The circumstances of the programmes and their organisation have an impact on the quality, they conclude.
The editors behind the survey International Postgraduate Students Mirror report that the students overall are pleased with the programmes. However, the respondents say that the introductory programmes were often unsatisfactory, and that they are not sufficiently involved in the governance of their departments. The postgraduate students also want better links between the programmes and the labour market and they are concerned about their future careers.
