More than SEK 400 million to research for sustainable development

The Swedish Research Council for Environment, Agricultural Sciences and Spatial Planning, Formas, grants SEK 409 million to research for sustainable development.
Most of the funding will be divided between 200 projects, which thematically spread from the olfactory world of the mosquito to the role of the horse in spatial planning.

In addition to this, SEK 7 million is granted to PhD scholarships, 10 million to research on marine environment, 59 million to interdisciplinary projects, 14 million to research on construction and 2 million to Nordic Joint Committee for Agricultural Research.
