More university college research in Norway

In a proposal to the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research, the Research Council of Norway declares the necessity of increasing the funding for research at state university colleges in Norway. As a result of this, the Ministry has established a strategic programme for research at university colleges.
In a proposal to the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research, the Research Council of Norway declares the necessity of increasing the funding for research at state university colleges in Norway. As a result of this, the Ministry has established a strategic programme for research at university colleges.

The programme will enable the university colleges to achieve high quality research results, especially in academic fields that are not funded through other channels.

The four-year programme has a yearly frame of NOK 15 million, and all fields are eligeable to apply. Each project can receive a framework funding of NOK 0,8-1,2 million, which can cover scholarships, internationalisation and the stablishment of networks.
