The Norwegian government has discussed proposals for changes in the structure of the research council system in Norway.
The Norwegian government has discussed proposals for changes in the structure of the research council system in Norway.

Research minister Kristin Clemet states that the government does not want to divide the Research council but that major changes will take place compared to today‘s system. Institute research and innovational research should be considered to a greater extent than today, says the minister. In addition, reliable connections should be established between fields and sectors to benefit from the fact taht we have one research council.
