New Swedish government

Sweden‘s new government after the elections has been formed. The Prime Minister is Fredrik Reinfeldt of Moderaterna. The Liberal Party‘s Lars Leijonborg is the new Minister of Education.
Lars Leijonborg, born 1949, has worked as a political officer, politician, journalist and consultant. In 1985 he was elected member of parliament as a Stockholm representative, and in 1997 he was elected leader of the Liberal Party.

Other ministers of the Ministry of Education and Culture are Jan Björklund (Minister of Schools) and Cecilia Stegö Chilò (Minster of Culture).
