New visiting professors

To the deadline of March 1st 2003 NorFA received 30 applications of visiting professors. Based on the reviews of external experts the NorFA board decided in its meeting on May 27th 2003 to grant 10 new visiting professors.

Tom Burns from Uppsala Universitet (sociology) visits Norges Landbrukshøgskole
Hannu Tenhunen from KTH (microtechnology) visits Turku University
Peter Alberg Jensen from Stockholm University (Slavic and Baltic languages) visits Copenhagen University
Roger Säljö from Göteborg University (pedagogy and didactics) visits Høgskolen i Agder, Norge
Mats Björklund from Uppsala University (evolution biology) visits Helsinki University
Veijo Kaitala from Helsinki University (ekology) visits the Universitety of Oslo
Mikhail Kozlov from Turku University (ekology) visits St. Petersburg State University
Lassi Kalevi Heininen from Lappland University (The Arctic Centre) visits Petrozavodsk State University
Jürgen Beyer from Södertörns Högskola (Baltic and East European Graduate School) visits Tartu University
