NordForsk funds four international postdoc projects in neutron research

The four projects have been granted a total of nearly NOK eight million under the NordForsk Nordic Neutron Science Programme.

This international postdoc funding offers young researchers an opportunity to expand their skills in the use of neutron sources and to collaborate internationally. At least three-fourths of the grant period must be spent at a non-Nordic, internationally leading, operating neutron scattering facility.

NordForsk received 10 applications in response to the call. After assessment by a panel of international experts, four projects were awarded up to NOK two million each.

Projects will start in 2018 and run for 18–24 months.
