Nordic Education in Focus: Is there a Common Ground?

During the last years, the excellence of Nordic researchers in the field of education have worked together to produce new knowledge which supports future knowledge-based policy making. The results of this collaboration will be presented at the conference Nordic Education in Focus: Is there a Common Ground? in Stockholm on 6-7 February 2017.

The conference will provide an arena for networking, discussion of new ideas, exchange of experiences and presenting results from Nordic and national research programmes. The conference is specifically targeted at researchers and policy makers.

About the Education for Tomorrow programme

The Education for Tomorrow programme has enabled the collaboration of approximately 200 researchers in the field of education, primarily from the Nordic countries, with the aim of developing a knowledge-based policy in the Nordic countries by shedding light on research questions of social relevance.

Organisers

Organisers of the conference are NordForsk’s Education for Tomorrow Programme, together with Research Council of Norway (FINNUT Programme), the Swedish Research Council’s Committee for Educational Sciences and the Academy of Finland (TULOS Programme).
