New call for proposals under the Nordic eScience Globalisation Initiative (NeGI): "eScience in Health and Social Preconditions for Health"

The steering Committee in the Nordic eScience Globalisation Initiative (NeGI) has decided to allocate approximately NOK 40 million to the establishment of 1 - 2 Nordic Centres of Excellence (NCoEs) for eScience research on the use of genetic/molecular data and clinical/population registries for research in health and social preconditions for health. This involves development of methods and tools for advanced data integration, data analysis, modelling and simulation for research related to health. The NeGI NCoE should work to enhance expertise and build long-lasting networks of researchers.

The eScience globalisation initiative is a large Nordic research and educational initiative, to promote Nordic collaboration on eScience. The center must involve partners from at least three Nordic countries, and the formal applicant must be a legal entity based in one of the Nordic countries.
