The Government‘s proposal has taken into account the extensive evaluation of the Research Council, as well as a broad-based hearing. The new organisation of the Research Council will be arranged according to the functions of the new departments: One for development of academic areas, one for innovation and user-initiated research and one department for strategic actions. Development and innovation are central aspects of the new organisation.
