Reorganization of the Nordic Council

The reorganised Nordic Council consists of one presidium and five academic committees, in addition to a supervising committee and an election committee.
The reorganized Nordic Council consists of one presidium and five academic committees, in addition to a supervising committee and an election committee.

The reorganization is a result of the internationalization of political work and new problems. Parliamentary resources will be utilized more effectively and questions will be processed more systematically. The new structure also allows cross-thematic processing.

Nordic cooperation includes the Nordic countries, adjacent areas, Europe and the international society at large.

Committee of culture and education
Its tasks will be culture, compulsory and higher education, the educational field in the Nordic countries, adult education, lifelong learning, research and researcher mobility.
