Three new Nordic Centres of Excellence within the Top-level Research Initiative

Three Nordic Centres of Excellence (NCoE) will be funded within the Top-level Research Initiative’s sub-programme “Interaction between climate change and the cryosphere”. The names of the centres will be announced during a reception at the International Polar Year conference in Lillestrøm June 10th at 16:00, where the project leaders of the new centres will attend.
Based on an evaluation of a panel of non-Nordic experts, the decision has been made to fund three centres within this sub-programme.

The International Polar Year conference in Lillestrøm, close to Oslo, has been chosen as the venue where the leader of the programme committee, Magnus Friberg, will announce the names of the centres. All interested conference participants are welcome to a reception with tapas and drinks June 10th 16:00. Find more details about the meeting here.
