The NORDFLUX network studies the processes controlling the exchange of greenhouse gases in different types of ecosystems and regions at high latitudes.

The main objective of the network is to provide a platform for PhD students and younger researchers to develop the research in the field of global climate change in particular on the exchanges of greenhouse gases.

All teams in the network are running advanced field sites or/and laboratories fitted for experimental work in this area of research.

The PhD students and other researchers will be given access to an extensive database, and the workshops will constitute an arena for discussions and information exchange between younger and more experienced researchers.
