Nordic-Baltic September School in Psychology

Scientific research and research training profiles in the Nordic countries differ from each other due to different roots in international research and different policies in organising researcher training.

Also the neighbouring Baltic countries and Russia are at present in a far more diverse state of development both in their research and research training. Therefore, a close collaboration in both our research and especially in research training is necessary.

The school is an intensive workshop for producing scientific articles in special groups, also including deepening scientific discussion and keynote lectures on specific issues.

The ultimate aim is to increase the student and post-doc exchange between participating countries, institutes and laboratories, which is best accomplished via first knowing each other and each other's skills and aims.

The course shall facilitate the establishment of Nordic-Baltic contacts among professors, post-docs and doctoral students which would then enhance further scientific opportunities.
