JustEd summer school 2015 “A Nordic model?”

The Nordic Model has traditionally referred to a society built on social democracy and the welfare state. For education it meant a free and comprehensive education as well as equal access to higher education for all. Is there a Nordic model in education today and in that case what does it mean and how has it changed over the years? What is its importance in a global perspective? Can it be regarded as exemplary for others? In this summer school doctoral students are invited to examine critically different sides of the so-called Nordic model.
