Lars Kloo says that the guiding stars for the programmes that NordForsk funds are high scientific quality and a clear Nordic added value.

Kloo has observed that NordForsk has matured in its role as a Nordic platform for research collaboration, reflected in the new assignments concerning both research programmes, responsibility for the Nordic co-operation bodies and collaborations between the Nordic research funders and funders in and outside the Nordic region.
