NordForsk received 32 applications before the deadline on 14 August for the Call for proposals: Nordic research networks within natural science and related engineering fields.
Now, 15 new networks have been granted funding.
Thorbjørn Gilberg is Special Advisor at NordForsk and responsible for the call under NOS-N. He says:
“The projects are very varied in their approach to networking. They are looking into a wide span of topics including connecting biologist and technology experts to improve wildlife monitoring, dating of glacial landforms and inspired by natural systems, rethink how information can be processed. I am impressed by the ingenuity in the approach to networks and the high degree of interdisciplinarity."
