NordForsk joined international collaboration on a G7-Nordic call for proposals for research projects on quantum technologies.
Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) is managing the call, and they received 186 applications by the call deadline. To apply for funding from NordForsk via this call, the consortium must involve collaboration between a minimum of two different Nordic countries, as well as collaboration with some of the G7 countries involved in the call.
Bjørnar Komissar, special adviser at NordForsk, is responsible for the research initiative on Quantum technologies.
“NordForsk is happy to see that 50 per cent of the submitted proposals includes Nordic participation. The initiative is therefore a great opportunity for quantum research groups in the Nordic region to establish and strengthen Nordic research collaboration in this area, as well as building international networks with quantum research groups in leading countries,” he says.
