Sustainable working-life for ageing populations in the Nordic and Baltic region: research insights and policy recommendations

The seminar will present the results of the project Sustainable working-life for ageing populations in the Nordic-Baltic region, funded by NordForsk, as well as policy recommendations.

Presentations will be delivered by:

  • Prof. Ieva Reine (Uppsala University, Sweden)
  • Halldór S. Guðmundsson (University of Iceland)
  • Prof. Antanas KairysAssoc.
  • Prof. Olga Zamalijeva
  • Assoc. Prof. Raimonda Sadauskaitė (Vilnius University)

The presentations will explore various aspects related to sustainable working life in ageing societies of the Baltic and Nordic countries, with a focus on issues such as discrimination, health, and workplace quality. Some of the presentations are based on data from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE).

The seminar will be held in English and take place in person.
