With these words, the Nordic prime ministers have given us all a clear mandate. NordForsk plays a vital part, through its central role in the Nordic collaboration on research policy and setting strategic research priorities. 

In particular, Paula Lehtomäki highlights the new research programme Green Transition, Health and Welfare and Societal Security as key research areas where NordForsk is contributing to the 2030 goals.
