Nordic resilience in antagonistic times

Nordens telt, Arendal

In parallel, the media landscape is fragmenting, with social media and alternative channels challenging established sources of information and trust.

What does this new reality mean for Nordic preparedness, democratic resilience and public communication?

This conversation examines what such a new world order means for Nordic preparedness, communication, democratic resilience and security.

  • Who are behind hybrid threats and information manipulation, what are their most commonly used tactics?
  • What role do governments, researchers, media and civil society have in building resilience, reducing polarisation and ensuring trust in the face of hostile influence?
  • Should the Nordic countries develop joint strategies to strengthen societal and youth resilience?

This event is organised in collaboration with the Nordic Council of Ministers.
