One of the ways to implement ethical conduct of Arctic research involving Indigenous peoples, is to involve them in the whole research process. Even when this means that the research takes longer time, and possibly also a change of topic.
FLAVOUR addresses the problem with off-flavour by combining fundamental research on why the compounds are produced with development of new technology for monitoring and removal.
