NordForsk launches a call for research networks that can provide a broad knowledgebase for strengthening Nordic preparedness and resilience to future crises.
The overall aim of the initiative is to produce new knowledge on how to foster and advance the transition to a bio-based economy in the Nordic countries by integrating research, innovation and entrepreneurship in the private and public sectors.
Fish do not live in isolation but interact with other fish species and the marine environment. It is too narrow to look at only one fish stock at a time when setting catch quotas. New research takes a broader perspective and examines how we can ensure sustainable fishing in the Norwegian Sea.

It shows that the Nordic cooperation in practice already strong and considers the implications of possible futures on the continuing value and effectiveness of the cooperation. It makes a number of policy suggestions for increasing the strength and effectiveness of the Nordic cooperation in the future.
The Nordic Committee on Bioethics and NordForsk is launching the fifth edition of Legislation on biotechnology in the Nordic countries. The report provides an up-to-date overview of legislation in a variety of areas, including assisted reproduction, human biobanks, cloning and embryo research.
