Six consortia with a focus on strengthening university collaboration are expected to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of the Nordic region and facilitating the development of excellent Nordic research environments.
Nordic research funding should be prioritised to achieve the goals of Our Vision 2030. This is one of the recommendations from the Nordic ministers for research and education to the Nordic Council.
The NORIA-net “Nordic Research Infrastructures Network” (NRIN) was launched in 2009 with the aim of strengthening Nordic cooperation on research infrastructure. NRIN’s work culminated in the report “Enhancing Nordic Research Infrastructure Cooperation”, which offers a number of recommendations.
