The Nordic Optical Fiber Sensing Research Infrastructure Hub (Nordic DAS) is working collaboratively to enhance seismic monitoring and geohazard assessment using Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) technology.
Digitalisation is a recurrent theme on today’s European, national, and regional development agenda. It is also a priority focus area for the Swedish presidency of the Nordic Council in 2019.
"NordForsk’s new Open Invitation mechanism will play a key role in our future success,” says Lars Kloo, the new Chair of the NordForsk Board. He foresees increased involvement among Nordic research funders when the new mechanism is put into use.
NordForsk opens a call on University Cooperation. 5 networks can be funded with a budget of NOK 4 + 8 mill per year per network. The call for proposals will be issued 1 September 2022.
